This four-day small-group journey links Bukhara with Samarkand through Hayat, Ukhum, Asraf, and Eski Forish in the Nuratau Mountains. You hike 11 to 12 kilometers a day, sleep in local homestays, eat included Uzbek meals, visit petroglyphs and old fort ruins, and have luggage carried by donkey between villages.
